Adoption

Our application process is simple and inexpensive, but does still require careful consideration and $50 (for an adult cat) -$80 (for a kitten). This is a big step; a commitment for the lifetime of the animal you're about to be entrusted with.
There is always a waiting period of a few days. We screen all applicants and also require prospective mom/dad to be agreeable to a visit from us a couple of weeks after adoption, to make sure everything is going well. If either party is unhappy with the placement at that time, Soft Spot Critter Cafe will take the animal back. If the adopter finds that things for any reason things are not working out, Soft Spot Critter Cafe will issue a prompt refund. If the adopter is found to have broken the contract however, the adoption fee is forfeited.
