FAQs

What are your hours?

I work by appoinment only. Let me know what works best for you, and I will try to accomodate.

How long does it take?

Approximately 1 1/2 hour for a full groom. I will call/text you when your baby is ready to go, but you pick him/her up at your convenience.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, checks and debit/credit cards.

How often does my dog need to be groomed?

As a guideline, every four to six weeks keeps Fido looking and smelling his best. It also minimizes the amount of hair you have to deal with in your home. Many of our regular customers have standing appointments every three weeks, and make every other appointment a bath only.

Keep in mind that matted/knotted hair can get very painful, and may even make your dog aggressive in severe cases.

Sometimes "hot spots" (sores) will form under the matted areas because things get stuck there and no air gets through. Note: bathing only, without removing the mats first, will make the situation worse, not better.

Getting the mats brushed out is not always possible, as it can hurt and I will only keep going for so long, then I have to resort to clipping/shaving.

My dog is kind of big  and most places won't take him. Will you?

Sorry, I can no longer take big dogs. I have moved the business to my home and work alone, so I don't have help with lifting, restraining etc. My limit is approximately 50 lbs.

Do you require vaccinations for my dog to come in?

require proof of current Rabies vaccination. Please bring paperwork at your first visit. Parvo and Distemper vaccinations are highly recommended, but not required.
